Polarizing filters

You see, a large percentage of the light that we see objects is reflected light and that is the light that captures our camera. Polarizing filters serve basically to eliminate these specs, which leads them to saturate the colors to give you more experienced and higher-contrast images. But to understand this best thing is to show you some examples.
In this picture car that I share below (very common example filters polarizers) can appreciate the difference between a photograph with filter and another without filter. The difference, as you can see, is the glow given off by the car. Interesting difference no?

In this picture can notes r the same effect. Because the shiny surface reflects much of the light is especially evident with cars. On the second picture color is more shocking and more realistic, more sharp contrasts.

It is basically the polarizing filters have not much science and all they do is take your shines when you want to photograph outdoor. Also have the effect (as all filters) reduced the light that enters the camera, so it may be necessary to open semicircular aperture more of what you would normally when using a filter polarizer.
When it comes to buy a polarizing filter you must take several things into account. It is best that you buy one from a known as Canon or Nikonmanufacturer. Another factor that you should take into account is the diameter of your goal you must buy a filter that is of the same diameter, otherwise it will be your House. I speak of course of circular filters. If on the other hand you want to buy a porta-filtros then you should not worry about the diameter of the objective (fit and serve to accommodate filters of different diameters).
Learn more about filters circular polarizers with the video below:

And if you have been doubts or you want to see examples of the use of this filter, you can not miss the next video where we also learn where can acquire these filters.

Using the flash outdoors

In exterior, even in good conditions of light, and especially when we do portraits or want to photograph animals or objects very closely, it is best to use the flash, how? If this is what you're wondering, then keep reading!
Even under full sun light (or perhaps precisely for that reason) the shadows become very tough in the portraits and what we do with the flash is to eliminate them and make faces contrasts more natural.
What we will try to do with the flash is generally the focus of the picture in the protagonist, creating a greater contrast with the background.
As I said earlier, a good time to use the flash outdoors is when there is too much sun in such a way that creates unwanted contrasts and shadows ruin, obscure and sometimes left in the dark to the subject. There are two types you can use the fill flash, or which is known as absolute or total. Some cameras do not bring the fill mode, but if you do have this it is especially useful for taking portraits of people who are more than one meter in distance.
It fill flash is also very useful in cloudy days to give more vitality and color to the faces, making them more attractive.
Anyway the cloudy days, because precisely the light is less intense and blurred, most likely that the flash do us not need.

There are many possibilities when using a flash outdoors. Especially if you have a powerful team can achieve pictures during the Blue hour or with some darkness, that seem to photos during the day. Fantastic no?

Photos of Madrid

Madrid is the city most populated from Spain, which is why photos of parks or streets populated people are common and add a style to pictures of Madrid, are photos of amateur or professional photographs.
Madrid is an intense, vibrant city, it is supposedly the most important city of Spain, but sometimes Barcelona is considered one of the most important cities, perhaps very close to the Statute with Madrid.
Madrid is the third most populous city in the European Union and also one of the most popular.
Madrid is an excellent city to take architectural photos, with beautiful and classical buildings and a touch of modernism and Futurism. Those buildings that you are going to want to photograph if you are in Madrid and are ideal for practicing different techniques and styles of photography, include:
Gran Vía: well, strictly, the Gran Vía is not a building but there are some of the most interesting facades of Madrid. Our favorites include the metropolis building, the Telefónica building, the famous cinemas Callao, the building of fine arts and the famous Torre de Madrid. Puerta de San Vicente Real Casa de Correos (and all the historic facades of the Puerta del Sol) Palace of Santa Cruz Viaduct

This Photo Gallery of Madrid is perhaps a good incentive for photographers who seek a bit of creativity in the area of urban photography and decide to give a visit to this beautiful Spanish city.

Nighttime digital photography

For photographs night is necessary to have a tripod, since slow shutter speeds make your pictures come out blurred. There is also another variant which are monopodios which are that they can be set by means of a clamptripod heads. Also if we can need that camera shot do so via a shutter release cable to reduce vibration (or use a remote control).
Another thing that we have to eliminate the use of flash. When we find ourselves at night trying to translate a large area use is redundant, since the flashes the camera has built-in have little scope. The flash is also an artificial element which is the only thing that will result in that natural photography exit shortly . Night photographs that better come out are those that are achieved when the night is in an advanced period which achieved is that the contrast is very large between areas where there is light and shadow zones.
Although on the other the favorite moments to take night pictures are achieved during those moments reserves after sunset and just before dawn. At those times specifically Heaven have a dark blue hue and shadows are highly profiled.

In digital photography measure the light is very simple in comparison with analogue photography, it is possible to make the information appear on the LCD screen and make the corrections that are relevant. Best to get digital cameras pictures is to use manual mode or maintain the fixed speed and vary exposure and power over expose or sub expose what is necessary.
Tripod! Always for taking photos at night we will need a tripod, we will use especially the manual mode where we can modify our camera parameters adapted to the specific needs of the image that you photograph and the picture you want to obtain. To the picture objects that are not in motion should highlight the contrasts and silhouettes.Whereas when photographing moving objects we must take into account that they will emerge as halos of light (such as the famous image of the cars passing through an avenue as threads of light). You do not require too much ISO, leave it in a value low to avoid losing definition. If you've been wanting to see more about night photography.

Monitors for photography

When we edit a photo, and this sure is becoming more and more frequent (same small details always we like to improve our photographs), we see the results on the monitor. But what happens if we send to print the image that we have edited and the impression then is simply an aberration from what we have seen on the monitor. Most likely, that our monitor is not ideal for working with photos.
By this same, if you want to edit, and print your photos, work professionally with images and be sure that what you see on the monitor what really see once completed process of editing (and what others will see on their monitors, clear).
This is the most important thing to think about when buying a monitor if you are a photographer. Is that with higher resolution, higher definition will monitor and with greater clarity we will see our photos and edits that we do.
These two aspects are also essential, especially since a poor brightness or contrast unrealistic may result in editing incorrect.
Each company calibrate their monitors in a personalized way and this is something that you do and check before you start to use your monitor so that what you see is as faithful as possible.
This is also important as many times you might have noticed that if you put aside and not looking directly at the monitor, then you see that the colors are lost and brightness becomes a problem serious. With monitors that have a viewing angle of 170 degrees to the less this is avoided and ensures absolute fidelity of image from where is that you whichever way to monitor.

Another problem that you think is the calibration of the monitors should be careful (to achieve a brightness and contrast natural and real).

This is the last all-terrain camera which has launched Panasonic, who have designed a specific line for travelers and adventurers: the series TF. This House brings a Leica lens allows us to take photos of excellent quality. UV filters and protection filters

UV filters do not produce any appreciable effect on our photographs only prevents the entry of ultraviolet rays in our camera which means that the picture will be exactly equal.
Then, so I want one? The vast majority of photographers are purchased UV filters not so much the fact protect against ultraviolet rays of the Sun but rather as a protection for the lens of the camera. It is a filter quite cheap and in fact I have come to see many UV filters for the small fee of 8€.

There are also those who argue that a UV filter removes sharpness to the photographs but I have not personally noticed no change in photographs since I use a UV filter. I suppose it's a personal matter that must be overcome each. In any case it is a very reliable alternative in protecting your objective of scratches, dust, and other.
You you think UV filters? You saved them? Tell us your story, your experiences and the results you have obtained using these filters.

Photographing moving objects

To take pictures of moving objects may we end up with photos where the movement appears as a fuzzy halo (sometimes may be interesting as a photographic effect, others may end up ruining our photo); or perhaps appears frozen, static, as if time had stopped in the middle of an action (especially have seen this in sports photography).
This is perhaps the easiest, though slightly option less natural. If you get sharp images can be shocking (you have a picture of an athlete in a move that requires their muscles to maximize ever seen?) (Often stunning).
Usually this is used for a fast shutter speed , so that the lighting conditions must be optimal, being more difficult to shoot when there is too much light (especially easy to practice and take the trick are the sports on the inside).
In a subsequent process, if you don't like the image of a frozen movingobject, we can edit the image to reinforce the sense of movement (the easiest thing is to work with the Fund creating a motion blur).

On other occasions can be a good idea to tap movement, that is to say make him appear even as fuzzy halo. For that we are going to use a slow shutter speed and essential form, will need a tripod. As you can see in the first image that you share in this article, the movement is clearly seen, as if he left a halo… might be really interesting!
Another way of exploiting the movement is the photographer who is moving and can photograph objects that would usually be static creating an interesting effect and challenging the eye of the Viewer.
Finally I share an interesting video where you can learn a little more about photography objects or subjects in motion, some basics of this type of photography and ideas for going out to practice.

Remove unwanted levels

The levels in the picture are a fundamental concept, especially related to the portraits but which can also be applied to other types of photos.
The levels considered in photography are as follows:
General level. This plane is that usually incorporate a complete person, from head to toe.
The Middle short plane or flat bust. It is the map that shows the person on its upper half, creating greater attention on the subject, not the environment. It is usually up to the waist or chest.
Foreground. This is the map that focuses on the face of the model that we are photographing.
First Primerísimo level. Slightly more aggressive is that the previous one, closer still to the face, generally cut half of forehead to the Chin. Often complex control because we need to think in depth of field and the details and aberrations that can cause the short distance.
Level three quarters or American. This plane is basically the body of the model to the knees.
Photographic planes with examples
What you can do is modify an image, change the level. For example you've captured an image of whole body, but does not convince you, then you can work with a portion of the image, crenado a level three quarters or a foreground, for example.
The best is when you take the picture thinking at the level that we are going to choose that this is part of the composition, and depending on what level we want use we must think about the composition, the position which shall take the subjects, etc.
Other articles that can help you when working with levels in photography:

Basics of photography

Yes, these two concepts are not important, but fundamental to any photographer by beginner that is. All we happened to take pictures too dark or too exposed, so you lose colors, shadows and details.
What we need to know is how light affects the exhibition of a film (or digital cameras, it is the same). It's easy! More amount of light in the scene, greater exposure. And on the contrary, there is much less light in the scene, less exposed will be the film.
Nowadays even compact cameras bring some manual options that allow you to modify the exposure immediately. Test! in general (it is the Tv option) You will immediately see the results are very different. Exposure is measured in seconds or milliseconds (X).
The composition is a fundamental aspect to take into account at the time of shooting. Look before you click and not! only through the lens of your camera Mess of va idea of composition is directly associated with the aim of "tell a story" or say something in particular, something different with our photo. Notes, for example, the Eiffel Tower, just on the internet there are more than 5 million photos, how will you do to yours be different?
And here is where we need to talk about angles, i.e. from where they photograph the object subject that we have in front of the camera.

As you can see in this picture we see the same statue from different angles and some are more interesting than others, all emphasizing different aspects of the statue. Interesting isn't it? The best thing you can do is take pictures from different angles to an object and then see how each photo says something different from what you've photographed. My favorite for these are the flowers!
Once you dominéis these basics you can pass to some things more complicated as the opening, the shutter speed and depth of field, for example.
If you have some doubts, do not miss the video below where we return to explain those important concepts about light in the world of photography.

And also a video with some tips to keep in mind when thinking of the composition.

How to remove reflections

If a reflection is very intense, something perhaps. Is there any way to include it in your picture? For example, take photos of people with lenses can be a nightmare because the glasses reflect without mercy any light source. Why not include a reflection that may be of interest rather than remove it altogether?
Integrate the reflections to your photos does not mean that do them necessarily protagonists, although this is the risk in general because they are striking and attract the gaze of the Viewer.

OK, you have tried it but the reflection you don't like and won't make you want to do. No problem! Follow these tips and you can rid of that annoying reflection, but it is best done at the time of take the photo then edit the picture but you very well know your way around Photoshop, can be tedious and even tortuous!
One of the options easier to implement, especially ideal for portraits or photos on the outside where there is enough light, is opting for a polarizing filter. This helps to reduce reflections in glasses and various surfaces (bright elements for example) but also reduces available on making light and can darken colors, especially in photos inside.
Another option is to think a little on the directionality of the light at the time of taking the photo. It is a matter of composition and you'll need to take your time and perhaps explain the subject why it is important to work with your instructions. Basically must do that the light source is not directly located to where the subject is looking (this generates a strong reflection), but perhaps slightly tilting the head, or better still we can locate the source of light at a side angle, for example, in this way reduces significantly (or completely) reflex.

If it's too late and there is another option that edit the image, then follow these Tips!
Tools to correct reflexes You can be various depending on the type of reflection that we want to modify. Especially if reflections are small, caused above all by the flash. For this we can use the Healing Brush (tool that allows us to take a sample in an area - press ALT to select the area of sample - and then play over the area you want to modify). As you can imagine, it's only useful - or realistic - to small space and requires a great deal of precision, test and erro and patience.
Finally an interesting tutorial on how to remove the unwanted shine in some pictures:

Study photography

In the end I decided on an Academy but must admit that part of my always he repented of this fact. Photography is something that you can learn alone if they so wish it. You don't need a teacher that teaches you what is the diaphragm or levels, but it can definitely help. I'm not saying that these things are not important, but certainly are things that one can learn by yourself.
It real benefit has to attend such a school is more than nothing in the company, to share with other lovers of photography the own development and to exchange equipment. In a school these surrounded by affine people with your interests can arise in common projects not to mention great friendships. You rodeas in a climate of people that you understand, that knows the frustration of a bad photograph and includes the pleasure of opening-up of f.1.4.
Study alone also has its advantages. Be self-taught you can open the mind much when asks what one can or can not do, but it also requires self-discipline and patience. Very often in a photography school among so many rules and prohibitions you can forget the fun that was simply experimenting with one technique or another..  It is a matter of only give the button capture.

After all, is wherever you study or be sure to study photography, much will depend on your personality. It depends on where you feel most comfortable. I personally feel most comfortable discovering and learning only but there are those who prefer to be surrounded by people with the same interests to really take things seriously. Do you prefer to what? School or self-taught? Tell us your experiences learning photography in our comments section.

Photographing children

Like type and picture taking pictures to children has certain difficulties in addition to the typical obstacles and problems in making portraits. This is because basically that children do not like to pose much or stand still following our instructions. Probably to half lose patience and prefer to go to play. So if we take photos of children on the move, playing or jumping or running, we need to take into account certain conditions to get good pictures.
We all know that a picture of a cute child will attract the attention of many, while a photo of a child in a situation of poverty, for example, can serve the purposes of a Foundation of charity. But how to get these fantastic photos of children? What we want is to get photos memorable and attractive photos that tell a story.
It is best known to the child, interested in what you're doing, play together or ask questions about what you like or not. This preparation is important, because the photographer must observe the responses of the child and how to respond, to be able to then capture a grimace in particular, a gesture or a look.
Once the child feels comfortable with us around and we have observed carefully his gestures and how to interact, it is time to move away a little, for which I explain that we are going to prepare the camera. Children tend to be rapidly distracted and insurance will find something to entertain. Other times can be to show special interest in the team, the camera or even the like pose.
But the best is generally away from the child, using a telephoto lens if necessary to let the picture more natural and authentic as possible, without creating interference in the environment.

Finally, we recommend include the environment of the child, and also try to see in common, everyday and ordinary that which is special, that is precisely what we want to reflect on a photo of this type!
I personally like to capture the eyes of children, as they always seem to be loaded with emotions that are so real, auténticas… and you? Have you tried?

The best pictures of the calm sea

That without the important benefits and properties of the sea . Know that the sea has therapeutic and medicinal effects? For example to bathe in the Sea provides certain health benefits. Bathe in the sea can work together to reduce aches and ills muscle and bones (this therapy is known as Thalassotherapy).

Why main, and given that already need very little to that we can begin to enjoy it again, we have decided to make a compilation of some of the best pictures of the sea.

We hope that you enjoy and that you feel already wanting to go for a relaxing swim in salt water.

There are different types of seas:

Coastal seas: are rather gulfs.Continental seas: largest saline water bodies (such as the Atlantic, for example), what is commonly known as ocean.Closed seas: surrounded by land.World Maritime Day is August 26.

In some corners of the world the sea water is calm and so transparent that it is as if we were looking through a glass.

Funds for photography are generally expensive and are only worthwhile if we dedicate to some kind of professional photography. If you want to try some new techniques you need something more rustic but that offers you similar results. Want to know how to make your own funds? It is very easy!
Everyone can do these funds!

The easiest is to use paper, a blanket or same a wall of color. These options are available to everyone and it is just a matter of thinking in the composition to locate our subject/object and click "!".
When you choose a sheet you want to not have any type of gloss that will not be beneficial for your photos. So you can give it a light natural color so that it is not very white and genre a warm filter.
On the other hand if you want a background color everything you have to do is get a game of cheap cotton sheets and then in coloring, then a question to follow instructions! The good thing about this option is that it allows you to play with the designs of the Fund avoiding an even colour, for example. Use your imagination!

Other options include panels of gypsum (that is you can add textures, for example), which are less comfortable to work but enormously versatile; as well as also woven craft and even tiles.
I share a video with relevant information to put together a photographic Studio. This might more to go professional, but we have found it very useful.

And I also share a video very useful when doing tricks with Photoshop: Learn how to erase the background of a photograph!
Recalls that in the composition of your image the background plays a role almost as important as the same object/subject and if not choose properly you can end ruining an excellent photo. Attention!

Remove red-eye

Red eye occurs when the flash illuminates the inner part of the eyes and then it bounces on the retinae creating that red color (is by the blood vessels supplying the retina).
Generally happens when we use the flash even though they can also be caused by other light source directly intense eyes.
Obviously the effect it is worse in people with clear eyes who have dark eyes.
Modern digital cameras have Red-eye reduction to make blinking flash before firing, so the pupil shrinks and less light enters the eye, but this is not always achieved Remove red eyes, which is why we have no choice but that eliminate this effect manually with editing of images and retouching programs.
But we also have alternatives a lot more simple, as network iGone, an online application that is designed to do this, saving us much time to not have to install additional software or have knowledge about graphic design and photo retouching.
This application is really very easy to use and just have to upload the photo to the site, select the red eye and automatically removes the program. Then you just need to save the picture again in our computer.
Without a doubt an excellent alternative to programs like Photoshop or GIMP, that require previous knowledge and time in order to achieve this simple but effective retouching.
If you have doubts you can follow these tutorials to correct red eyes, first in Photoshop
