UV filters and protection filters

UV filters do not produce any appreciable effect on our photographs only prevents the entry of ultraviolet rays in our camera which means that the picture will be exactly equal.
Then, so I want one? The vast majority of photographers are purchased UV filters not so much the fact protect against ultraviolet rays of the Sun but rather as a protection for the lens of the camera. It is a filter quite cheap and in fact I have come to see many UV filters for the small fee of 8€.

There are also those who argue that a UV filter removes sharpness to the photographs but I have not personally noticed no change in photographs since I use a UV filter. I suppose it's a personal matter that must be overcome each. In any case it is a very reliable alternative in protecting your objective of scratches, dust, and other.
