Photographing children

Like type and picture taking pictures to children has certain difficulties in addition to the typical obstacles and problems in making portraits. This is because basically that children do not like to pose much or stand still following our instructions. Probably to half lose patience and prefer to go to play. So if we take photos of children on the move, playing or jumping or running, we need to take into account certain conditions to get good pictures.
We all know that a picture of a cute child will attract the attention of many, while a photo of a child in a situation of poverty, for example, can serve the purposes of a Foundation of charity.But how to get these fantastic photos of children? What we want is to get photos memorable and attractive photos that tell a story.
It is best known to the child, interested in what you're doing, play together or ask questions about what you like or not. This preparation is important, because the photographer must observe the responses of the child and how to respond, to be able to then capture a grimace in particular, a gesture or a look.
Once the child feels comfortable with us around and we have observed carefully his gestures and how to interact, it is time to move away a little, for which I explain that we are going to prepare the camera. Children tend to be rapidly distracted and insurance will find something to entertain. Other times can be to show special interest in the team, the camera or even the like pose.
But the best is generally away from the child, using a telephoto lens if necessary to let the picture more natural and authentic as possible, without creating interference in the environment.

Finally, we recommend include the environment of the child, and also try to see in common, everyday and ordinary that which is special, that is precisely what we want to reflect on a photo of this type!
